Trade Winds Tripel

Stone 16th Anniversary Celebration – Sample #2 Bananas and spice on the nose. Carries through to palate with bubblegum joining the party.

Damnation Batch 23

It’s been a crazy couple of weeks. Last weekend, I was up at BizarroCon, sharing good company, good beer (including some incredible home brews), and a love of strange literature with a hundred awesome people. I returned to Petaluma via train (reading an outstanding manuscript on the ride back), arriving home revitalized and re-energized (in spite of an impending nasty cold) and kicked off a Thanksgiving Twitter fundraising challenge, #FeedCthulhu, that raised more than $750 for hunger relief.

Trippel

Sunday night is upon us, leaving me wondering where the weekend went. I’m not sure I’m ready for tomorrow to be Monday. I had about eight hundred thousand words I was hoping to read. Instead, I read about eighty thousand, maybe I’ll hit a hundred tonight. Fortunately, most of those were the right words. So I’m pouring a “modern all-malt trippel dry-hopped and bottle conditioned” for words spilled and all those words yet to be read.

Brother David’s Triple

From Boonville, CA comes Anderson Valley Brewing’s Abbey Style Ale, Brother David’s Triple, a pean to the High Priestess of Fermentation. “You are worthy,” this beer promises. And hey, solar powered brewery. So, how is it?
