Tonight, I’m kicking it with a Pretty Things Jack D’Or. It’s a Saison Americaine. And there’s a lemon with a mustache on the label. That bodes well.
Jack D’Or pours translucent orange with a three-finger whipped cream head. Spicy and yeasty nose: lemon zest, straw, and cloves. Bitter lemon hops, honey, and coriander on the tongue. Pleasantly active carbonation, fresh and refreshing. Lasting lemon-rind bitterness on palate. Peppery finish. Very drinkable.
