Bitter American pours clear, light amber with a frothy two-finger head that leaves little in the way of lacing. Mouthwateringly piney on the nose. Citrus and hops on the tongue, with light carbonation. Bready mouthfeel, but not the doughy breadiness of a Fat Tire; this is more like buttered toast, crisp and creamy. The bitter hits the back of the throat, but finish is clean and dry. Tantalizing. Light on alcohol; would make a nice campfire beer. Paired well with leftover pizza.
