Rogue Chipotle AleWe’re working our way back home after our seaside vacation, spending tonight in a La Quinta in White City, OR. Earlier this afternoon, we dropped by the Rogue Creamery in Medford, and I was in the mood for something spicy, so I picked up a Rogue Chipotle Ale.

Rogue Chipotle Ale pours a hazy honey with a thick, clumpy, sticky off-white head. Sweet malt and floral hops on the nose, with a ton of smoky pepper. Sweet on the tongue, with spicy chipotle peppers quickly dominating. This one’s a lip burner. Light mouthfeel, nice and creamy, with just enough carbonation to keep things interesting. Spicy-sweet finish, with a lasting back-of-throat pepper burn.
